Whether I am working abstractly or realistically I try to capture the grace of nature in my paintings. My artwork is inspired by the continually changing aspects of our natural world. Colors, light, and seasons change daily to inspire my creations. I like to freeze particular moments in time. Through my work I can clearly look back and remember the feelings of wonder and joy at seeing flowers in a garden or a field of wheat swaying in the breeze. I am honored to receive the 2021 BEST IN SHOW Award for my watercolor, "Gentle Winds are Blowing" in the MN Watercolor Society's juried Spring Exhibition.
